The weekly "Der Gerade Weg" (The Straight Path) was edited by Fritz Gerlich (1883 to 1934), together with its predecessor "Illustrierter Sonntag" (Sunday Illustrated). Starting in 1930, the newspaper, which appeared in Munich from 1929 to 1933, published some the most poignant warnings against national socialism based on a Christian reasoning.
